Here are some common questions from tenants.
What are the terms of the lease?
6 or 12-month leases are preferred. However, the minimum stay period is 2 weeks.
Can I rent the whole house?
No, it is just a room.
Can 2 people rent a room together?
Yes, but only in the bigger bedrooms with en-suites.
Am I responsible for cleaning?
You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your private room. Shared facilities will be cleaned on a fortnightly basis by our cleaners, as well as the gardens on a monthly basis by the gardeners.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Our properties come fully furnished, however, if you would like to bring small items of furniture you can do so as long as they fit in your room and are not left in any common areas of the share house.
Can I have pets?
No. Unfortunately, pets are strictly prohibited.
Who will I be sharing the property with?
We work hard to place you in a property we believe you will be most suited for. At our meeting, you will be informed of the other tenants’ ages, sex, and backgrounds. We pride ourselves in building you a home you feel comfortable in.
How often are inspections carried out?
Approximately every 3 months. However, if we believe the house rules are not being followed we will inspect the property more regularly. We want to ensure that all tenants are living in a clean, hygienic, and happy environment.
What if I have lost my keys or locked myself out?
If you accidentally lose the keys or lock yourself out of your room do not attempt to force entry. Please contact us at 0476 403 537 and we will help if available. If we are not able to reach you out of hours you may need to find alternative accommodation or call a locksmith at your expense.
